Andy and Caragh Roberts’ private lodge on Manda Island in northern Kenya’s archipelago is set on a secluded peninsula surrounded by empty beaches and woodland, and is the perfect retreat for families and honeymooners alike.

There are eleven beachside cottages and five sea view cottages, each spacious with private veranda overlooking the glorious sweep of Manda Bay. The reef-protected waters and sheltered mangrove creeks of the bay are a water sports paradise - sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing and water-skiing are all available - but the resort’s fleet of motorboats can also take you bird watching and deep-sea fishing.
