This simple yet very comfortable lodge is set on a crescent of white sandy beach, on a magnificent stretch of Tanzania’s unspoiled coastline a few miles south of Dar es Salaam.

There are just nine spacious and charming cottages and four new suites built entirely of local materials, each with a large veranda and views of the ocean. While relaxation is the keynote, there are a variety of activities for the more energetic, including sailing, horse riding, deep sea fishing and walks in the tropical coastal forest.
