Mvuu Wilderness Lodge, Liwonde

The Mvuu Wilderness Lodge is situated along the banks of the Shire River in the Liwonde National Park, Malawi’s premier wildlife reserve.

The lodge offers exclusive accommodation in five spacious and luxurious en suite tents, each with a private veranda over the lagoon, ensuring prime and private wildlife viewing.

Activities here include day and night game drives, nature walks and bird watching. The wildlife here is prolific and diverse, and there are regular sightings of hippo and crocodile from the camp, whilst the surrounding forests are sanctuary to elephant herds, leopard, the rare sable antelope and a variety of bird species. Black rhino, zebra, Lichtenstein’s hartebeest and buffalo have been reintroduced.
