Saadani Safari Lodge, Saadani National Park

There is nothing to compare with Saadani Safari Lodge on the east coast of Africa. It is the only lodge in Saadani, Tanzania’s newest National Park, and lies in a unique wilderness of beach, bush and rivers - you can hear both the bush and the Indian Ocean from your bed at night. The perfect place to begin or end a tour.

The lodge has nine attractive en suite tented cottages set along the beach with veranda and unrestricted views of the ocean. Amenities include al fresco dining, a pool and a hide overlooking a waterhole. A wide variety of wildlife is to be found in the diverse ecosystems here - elephants have been known to cavort on the beach nearby - and activities include game drives, river safaris, walks, boat trips and snorkelling.
