Spitsbergen, Greenland & Iceland
Experience the true remoteness of Arctic life on this 2-week adventure to the North-East Greenland National Park, the largest remaining wilderness area in the Northern hemisphere and virtually untouched by man.
From Spitsbergen, land of the polar bear, you follow the pack ice border west to the eastern coastline of Greenland, a truly spectacular world of jagged fjords, calving glaciers, icebergs of all shapes and hues, and a seemingly endless ice cap. Following the coastline south, you will explore ancient Inuit settlements, search for narwhals and walruses in the ship's zodiacs, and hike across the tundra - a carpet of autumnal colour in September - before crossing the Denmark Strait to Iceland.
