Drive through beautiful rural Cambodia to Kratie, where you may catch a glimpse of the rare fresh water dolphin. Continue towards the rarely visited region of Ratanakiri, rich in natural beauty and once a base for the infamous Khmer Rouge.  Enjoy this exciting region visiting hidden villages, famous for their traditional cemeteries, or take a dip in the crystal clear waters of Yeak Loam crater lake.  Cross over the border in Laos and you will find yourself in Si Phan Don, otherwise known as 4000 Islands. In dry season, the waters recede and leave behind thousands of islets.  Explore the area’s French Colonial past, and visit the largest water fall in South-East Asia.  End the trip in Laos’ spiritual capital’, Luang Prabang, with its incomparable architecture and renowned water culture on the Mekong River.

City sightseeing and excursions to Tuol Sleng Museum & Killing Fields. Overnights Amanjaya.  Day 7: Drive via Kompong Cham to Kratie, home to freshwater dolphins. Overnight Sala Koh Trong. Days 8/10: Drive to Ratanakiri. Visit local villages and Yeak Loam crater lake. Overnights Terre Rouge. Days 11/12: Cross border into Laos. Visit local village and waterfalls in 4000 Islands. Overnights Senesothxeune. Days 13/15: Fly to Luang Prabang. City sightseeing and Mekong river cruise. Overnights 3 Nagas. Days 16/17: Fly to London via Bangkok.
