You begin at Lamanai, with its impressive Mayan ruins and the clear waters of the New River lagoon - a wetland paradise that supports a striking diversity of wildlife and birds, before heading for the Cayo District and the rainforests in the foothills of the Maya Mountains to explore Belize’s natural wonders.

You continue to the banks of the Rio Grande - the ideal base for exploring the jungles, caves and emerald rivers of southern Toledo, before ending near the relaxed resort of Hopkins where you can swim and dive in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean – the perfect finish to a fascinating journey.

Sample itinerary:

Day 1: Fly London/Miami.  Overnight Miami International Airport Hotel (to be paid locally).  Days 2/4: Fly to Belize City and drive to Lamanai. Overnights Lamanai Outpost Lodge.  Days 5/7: Boat and road transfer to Belize City and then fly to Cayo.  Overnights Pook’s Hill Lodge. Days 8/10: Drive to Rio Grande River. Overnights The Lodge at Big Falls.  Days 11/14: Fly to Dangriga.  Transfer to Hopkins and Hamanasi for diving and relaxation.  Overnights Hamanasi. Days 15/16: Fly to London via Belize City and Miami.
