Perched on a dam overlooking the 100-year old Chhatra Sagar reservoir between Jaipur and Jodhpur, this very individual camp is a modern recreation of the shikar camps of yesteryear. With breathtaking views over the lake towards the Aravalli Hills on the horizon, great comfort and warm hospitality this is a very special retreat.

Each of the 11 spacious tents is extremely comfortable and beautifully appointed, with en suite bathroom and a private seating area overlooking the lake. Delicious meals are cooked in the family kitchen by your hosts, the delightful Nimaj family, who also organize nature walks on their estate and excursions to local villages and Bishnoi settlements. Chhatra Sagar also attracts huge numbers of migratory birds, which can be viewed from an old hunting hide.
