Indian Wildlife Safari
A classic safari through Northern India

India has more than 500 species of mammal, a number, like the Royal Bengal tiger, under threat. This classic safari visits some of the wildlife sanctuaries created to protect these animals, enabling you to see them in their natural habitat.
After a brief stay in Delhi, fly to Khajuraho, famed for its extraordinary medieval Hindu and Jain temples, before driving to the forests of the breathtaking Bandhavgarh National Park, which supports high numbers of tiger and rarer species. Continue to the Kanha National Park, inspiration for Kipling's The Jungle Book and one of the country's most beautiful reserves, where the forest and grassland is perfect tiger country. You then visit Pench National Park where the tropical forest is home to a variety of wildlife such as leopard, but is more especially a bird watchers paradise. This remarkable journey ends in the stunning terrain of the Satpura National Park, a hidden gem in the Central Highlands with a unique eco-system and prolific wildlife, birds and flora.
