Built entirely from natural materials in line with its unimpeachable environmental credentials, the lodge is rustic but comfortable with 33 traditional thatched cottages dotted around a clearing in the forest and a gazebo style dining area. Game viewing is superb, and days are spent tracking rhino through seas of elephant grass, floating the rivers in search of the endangered Gangetic dolphin, and hoping for that rare encounter with the elusive tiger. You can also interact with the lodge's ten working elephants - a uniquely therapeutic experience.
