La Maison Arabe
The legend of La Maison Arabe began back in the 1940s when it was a renowned restaurant run by two extraordinary French Grand Dames. It lives on today as a gracious private hotel, recreating the style and atmosphere of ‘a thousand and one nights’ in the shadow of the Bab Doukkala mosque in the heart of the medina.
Each of the 9 air-conditioned rooms and 8 suites, all with either marble or granite bathrooms, several with an open fireplace and private terrace, have been designed with immaculate attention to detail and authenticity. The restaurant is regarded as one of the finest in Marrakech.
Guests can unwind at the end of the day in the hotel’s hammam. There is no swimming pool on site but just 10 minutes away by complimentary transport there is a pool set in a lush garden, planted with roses, olive and fig trees, reserved exclusively for clients. Facilities here also include a cookery school offering a range of courses for both profezsional and amateur cooks.
