L’Heure Bleue

No expense has been spared in the refurbishment of this elegant, colonial-style Relais & Châteaux property, offering 35 lavishly equipped rooms and suites plus a panoramic rooftop terrace swimming pool with superb views across the harbour - luxury and relaxation on the edge of the medina, and just minutes from both the souks and the beach.

The rooms and suites are variously decorated in African, Portuguese and colonial English styles. Junior suites are English and Portuguese, while the senior suites are Oriental and African. All are spacious, with air-conditioning and slatted window blinds.

The public rooms are set around an interior courtyard where traditional dark wood furniture and palm trees echo back to the 1920’s. Facilities include a fine restaurant offering gastronomic French and Moroccan cuisine, prepared by the hotel’s Lyonnaise chef, and an extensive wine cellar, a piano bar, billiard room and a small cinema.

A session in the traditional hammam ends with a massage of scented oils.
