Syria dates back to the very dawn of civilisation and has a wealth of astonishing archaeological and cultural riches, from biblical sites and Roman cities to Byzantine churches, Ummayad palaces and Crusader castles. 

Jordan

Few countries are as richly blessed as the small desert kingdom of Jordan with its remarkable history, magnificent archaeological remains and breathtaking landscape. For most the desert castles and Roman remains around Amman, the Dead Sea, the great Crusader castle of Kerak and other sights along the King's Highway and, of course, the magnificent rock-hewn city of Petra are the highlights of any visit.

Lebanon

In Lebanon, once the homeland of the Phoenicians, the legacy of the Persian, Assyrian, Hellenistic, Roman, Seljuk and Ottoman Empires is all too evident in the country's rich culture and historic landmarks.
