Highlights of Chile

This spectacular 11-night itinerary shows you the sights of Chilean Patagonia, where the scenery is so breathtaking you will hardly believe your eyes...

Your journey will start in Santiago, a city framed by snow-capped Andean Mountains. You will spend two days exploring the city before heading to the awe-inspiring scenery of Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia where you will stay at Patagonia Camp - set in a truly unbelievable setting! Patagonia Camp's fifteen impeccable yurts are poised above a sparkling turquoise lake in the rolling hills just outside Torres del Paine National Park. Carefully placed on steep wooded slopes, each yurt has a perfect view of the towering Cuernos del Paine from its private terrace. Spacious, comfortable, and stylishly furnished, you can even admire the stars at night through a central window in the roof of your yurt - a truly magical experience!

Torres del Paine National Park is just fifteen minutes away, and there's pristine wilderness all around you: take a kayak out on the water, stroll to the nearby waterfall, or just wander along wooden walkways through lenga forest to the Salon lounge and dining room. Chilean chef Ludolf Lausen, creates imaginative gourmet delights from local ingredients, such as king crab empanadas and creamy rabbit lasagne. He's even found a way to make turquoise blue pisco sours to match the lagoon! You will spend four blissful nights here at Patagonia Camp, allowing plenty of time to explore Torres del Paine National Park, and its truly exceptional surroundings.

Your next stop will be a flight to Puerto Montt where you will stay for three nights at Casa Molino. Located on the edge of Lago Llanquihue in fifteen acres of grounds, Casa Molino boasts spectacular views of no less than four impressive volcanoes. The hotel has just eleven rooms – five spectacular suites with superb lake views and six superior rooms.

Whilst here you will have the chance to explore the Osorno volcano, driving through thick forest to reach Chile’s oldest National Park, Vicente Pérez Rosales, founded in 1926. Your first stop within this park will be the waterfalls of Petrohué where you can hike a short trail through native forests arriving at the most amazingly crystal green waterfalls. Next you will head to the slopes of the Osorno Volcano, where at 1.300 m / 4.265 ft above sea level you will make a short hike over lava fields to enjoy impressive view over lake Llanquihue.

Your journey will end with a flight back to Santiago where you will stay for one last night in the city, before flying home via Madrid.
