With two premium class catamarans in their fleet (Galapagos Journey I & III), Galapagos Journeys offer an excellent and luxurious base for visitors to the islands.

The motor cruisers both carry 16 passengers and offer plenty of deck space as well as spacious cabins with private facilities and air conditioning.  Knowledgeable guides are provided to help you make the most of your visit as well as snorkeling equipment, wetsuits and kayaks.

There are several advantages to cruising on board a catamaran versus a monohaul yacht such as more stability, a smoother ride and more deck space.  They are also considered more environmentally friendly as the catamarans have less hull resistance, resulting in greater fuel efficiency and due to greater buoyancy and less draft, they can access areas that other boats cannot.
