This leisurely journey through Burma takes in the must see sights including a cruise on the luxurious Road to Mandalay.

After discovering the fascinating sights of Yangon, you fly to the ancient capital, Bagan, to join the Road to Mandalay cruise for four nights. Explore Bagan, where the ruins of more than 2,000 temples and pagodas remain on the awe-inspiring plain. Enjoy watching local riverlife as you cruise the Ayeyarwady River where magnificent sights await. Visit Sagaing considered to be the living centre of the Buddhist faith. Cruise to Mingun and enjoy a guided tour of Mandalay.

Afterwards travel to the beautiful surroundings of Lake Inle with its picturesque mountain backdrop and timeless way of life, before completing this captivating journey at Ngapli Beach on the west coast.

Day 1: Depart London.  Days 2/3: Arrive Yangon. City sightseeing. Overnights Governor's Residence.  Days 4-7: Fly to Bagan. Board the Road to Mandalay cruise ship.  Cruising on the Irrawaddy. Overnights Road to Mandalay  Days 8-10: Fly to Inle Lake. Local excursions. Overnights Inle Princess Resort.  Days 11-14: Fly to Thandwe and drive to Ngapali Beach. At leisure. Overnights Sandoway Resort.  Days 15/16: Return by road to Thandwe and fly to London via Yangon & Bangkok.
