Despite its name, Cotton House was originally an 18th century warehouse for coral. It was converted by Lord Glenconner into an exclusive hideaway for the great and good of the day.
Today it is one of the most exclusive hotels in Mustique. It is a haven for high flyers. Whilst its accommodation is limited to just seventeen rooms and suites, its attractions seem virtually unlimited. The rooms and suites are arranged in individual villas, quietly tucked into the beautiful grounds. For the most part they feature private terraces, locally-inspired décor and veiled four-poster beds. The grandest even have their own plunge pools.
Unusually for a Mustique hotel, there’s also a two bedroom cottage – Cotton Hill Residence – that has dedicated staff and a private swimming pool. Perfect for a weeks-long romantic encounter.
Just a short, golf buggy trip from Cotton House lie the irresistible sands of Endeavour Bay with its Beach Café, water sports, scuba diving, boat tours and sunset cruises. Tennis, horse riding, nature walks are also available.
And when evening falls, the romance returns. Dinner is a refined affair, served in the Great Room of the Cotton House Hotel in Mustique.
