Jade Mountain, St Lucia

If you are intent on spending time with one, special person…isolation was never more splendid

The Jade Mountain is quite unlike any other hideaway. Standing in splendid isolation in the tropical gardens of the Anse Chastanet Hotel on St Lucia, this unique, ecoluxury haven was designed by St Lucia’s leading architect, Nick Troubetzkoy.

In Jade Mountain, Nick has created a Seychelles hotel for couples who want to pamper each other in absolute luxury and near-complete privacy. Its design is a bold statement that echoes the nearby Pitons, and its rooms are simply superb.

There are no televisions, radios or telephones. Instead there is space; and time to focus on each other. Even the smallest suites – there are Star, Moon and Sun levels – are huge at 14,000 sq ft and they all feature private swimming pools averaging 450 sq ft or more.

In most suites it is possible to view the Pitons without getting out of bed, and it is certainly possible to breakfast or dine, or enjoy a spa treatment, without leaving the suite.

The theme of intimate privacy at Jade Mountain Hotel, St Lucia continues with 24 ‘infinity pool sanctuaries’ – each an individually designed work of art in its own right – complete with double-sized whirlpool tubs and fourth walls opening out onto breath-taking views.

The beach, the Jade Mountain Club, an outstanding restaurant, bar, decorative pool and the gardens and leisure facilities of the Anse Chastanet complete the splendid picture of St Lucia’s Jade Mountain Hotel.
