Saddle up in Andalucia

Your journey starts with a most Spanish event- the 'Feria del Caballo' and Bullfight in Jerez.  This significant event is a local celebration that rivals Easter in it's prominence.  A true Spanish fiesta, it is a veritable feast for the senses.  Join the locals for dancing, tapas and drinking while watching the vivid display of the horse parades.   Get even more involved in the destivities with a carriage ride through the parade and watch in awe as the traditional bullfight takes place.

Jerez is home to some of the finest sherries in the area. You will experience a full range of sherries with a tasting at the Lustau bodega, and afterwards, why not take a round of golf at the stunning Arcos Golf course?

About 5k from Jerez you will visit the places where the unique Cartujano (Carthusian) thoroughbred Spanish horse originates from.  A perfect location for breeding the horses with an unbeatable climate and terrain, you'll have the opportunity to watch the Cartujano horses in the dressage ring.  A private tour of the Los Alburejos Farm, scenically located in the shadows of the 13th century Torrestrella Castle lifts the lid on rural Andalucia and the rearing of the 'Torrestrella' bulls.
