Backed by lush riverine forest, Governors’ Camp enjoys panoramic views over the river and the wildlife it attracts. Built entirely under canvas, but with all the comforts of a luxury hotel, it’s one of the best-known camps in the Mara. Guest tents are generously sized and feature ensuite bathrooms and a private veranda each. The open-sided bar tent overlooks the water, while the dining tent has sweeping views over the Mara’s great plains.
