Arrive in Johannesburg at 10.15 hrs and connect onto BA 6275 (operated by Com Air) departing at 12.00 hrs arriving Windhoek International Airport, Namibia at 14.00 hrs. Continue on a private charter flight to Sossusvlei and transfer to Kulala Desert Lodge where three nights are spent. Kulala Desert Lodge’s location, at the foot of the majestic Sossusvlei dunes, allows for stunning views in every direction, while its private entrance to the Namib Naukluft National Park makes it the closest location to Sossusvlei. Guest rooms of thatched ‘kulalas’ on raised platforms make for airy, comfortable accommodation, and guests can even sleep out on the flat roofs. Afternoons around the pool provide relief from the heat, while the wraparound veranda at the main area overlooks a waterhole, and private tours of the dunes provide the ultimate Sossusvlei experience. Dinner at the Lodge.
Breakfast at the Lodge. Enjoy the activities the camp has to offer including nature drives; walking trails; climbing ‘Big Daddy’, one of Sossusvlei’s tallest dunes; exploring Dead Vlei, a white, salt, claypan dotted with ancient trees.
Early morning of 12 November, weather permitting, there will be a unique opportunity (at additional cost) to enjoy magnificent views over the majestic dunes from a hot air balloon.

After breakfast at the Lodge transfer to the airstrip for a short private charter flight to the seaside town of Swakopmund. The quirky mix of German and Namibian influences, adventure options, laid-back atmosphere and cool sea breeze make it a very popular Namibian destination. Transfer and check into the comfortable Strand Hotel which offers ocean views, numerous restaurants and a relaxing spa and where two nights are spent. Activities on offer include quad biking, golf, horse riding, paragliding, fishing, sightseeing and fascinating desert tours.
Lunch under own arrangements. This afternoon enjoy a catamaran dolphin and seal cruise. Dinner under own arrangements.
Breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy walks around the town, beach promenade and shops as well as other activities on offer.

After breakfast at the hotel transfer to the airstrip for a private charter flight to Twyfelfontein, set in the Kunene Region of north western Namibia, a spectacularly scenic area, featuring one of the largest and most important concentrations of rock art in Africa. The name ‘Twyfelfontein’ translates to ‘Fountain of Doubt’, which refers to the perennial spring situated in the impressive Huab valley flanked by the slopes of a sandstone table mountain. It was this spring that attracted Stone Age hunters over 6,000 years ago, and it was during this time that the extensive group of rock engravings and paintings were produced.
Transfer to Damaraland Camp which offers endless vistas of plains, valleys and mountains, and where three nights are spent. Each of the large en-suite, adobe-style thatched tents have a large private viewing deck. Enjoy nature drives and walks offering sights of desert-adapted wildlife, ancient rock-art and striking geological formations.
