London – Cape Town
Check in at London Heathrow for your overnight flight to Cape Town.
Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will be transferred for your flight to Madikwe, from where you will be met and taken to your lodge. Located near the border with Botswana, the Madikwe Game Reserve is one of South Africa’s prime wildlife destinations and offers a truly authentic safari experience.
In addition to an impressive bird population, the reserve is packed with an impressive variety of wildlife. This includes the “Super Seven”, which features lion, leopard, buffalo, rhinoceros, elephant, cheetah and the endangered African wild dog, as well as more unique creatures such as springbok, gemsbok and tsessebe.
You will be staying at a traditional-style safari lodge within the reserve, which boasts sweeping views across the plains from its exclusive hilltop location. Enjoy warm hospitality and delicious meals on top of day and night game drives and walking safaris through the reserve’s 76,000-hectare wilderness.
