Located on the remote and pristine Kimberley Coast, on a spectacular sand dune overlooking the Timor Sea, Reveley Island and the mouth of the Berkeley River, The Berkeley River Lodge is accessible only by air or water.
There is no road access to this property and arrival at The Berkeley River is by scheduled float plane from Kununurra ( takes approximately 1 hour).
Indulge in a touch of barefoot luxury by the sea and soak up the wide open spaces, fresh air and an abundance of nature. The main lodge has been designed to blend contemporary architecture and the environment, and incorporates indoor and outdoor dining facilities, and panoramic views along the coast and across the river mouth. A 20 metre lap pool will satisfy those wanting to exercise or just paddle. Poolside lounges and a library of books and magazines will provide a great excuse to lay back and catch up on some reading.
Enjoy as little or as much activity as you like. Choose from boat cruises along the coast or the Berkeley River, bush and beach walks or fishing.
Ocean view chalets sit atop a coastal dune surrounded by native vegetation and within walking distance of the main lodge. A touch of luxury adorns each chalet including open air bathroom with shower and free standing bathtub, dual vanities, air-conditioning, water chiller and private balcony with comfortable day beds. Each chalet offers spectacular 180 degree ocean or river views. There is no television or telephone in the room in order to enhance the tranquility of the area.
