Eagles Nest Retreat, Cradle Mountain

Experience exquisite landscapes and sensational mountain views from Eagles Nest, a contemporary retreat located close to Cradle Mountain. The retreat consists of two separate buildings – Eagles Nest I and Eagles Nest II. Both are designed to offer the ultimate escape and privacy where guests get exclusive use of facilities. Both retreats have large windows to take advantage of the spectacular views. The Eagles Nest I, offering 186 square metres of living space, is a two storey building with open-plan design, two bedrooms, two bathrooms (a spa bath and shower downstairs and a spa pool and twin shower upstairs), outdoor spa, fully equipped kitchen, open fire, air-conditioning, laundry facilities, private courtyard, barbecue area and additional touches such as revolving sofa on a 360 degree turntable for viewing the exquisite landscape. The Eagles Nest II is 289 square metres in size and general design is open plan, using glass and contours to give an almost transparent overall appearance. Different rooms are decorated based on regional design influences - bedrooms inspired by Africa and Asia, an upstairs reading loft with a distinct Middle Eastern ambiance and a courtyard with hammocks and a tranquil South American flavour. The lounge has an open fire and incredible mountain views through two storey windows plus under-floor heating. The kitchen is fully equipped and dining table seats eight people. Outside shaded sunspace which adjoins the kitchen area through bi-fold doors features floor cushions and hammocks. Outdoor spa overlooks the lake and mountains. Both houses are fully self-contained; alternatively a private chef is also available - sit back and relax as he/she prepare an exquisite meal for you.
