Qamea Resort offers luxury accommodation on a breathtakingly beautiful island of dramatic lush, green, tropical jungle clad hills and white sand beaches.
This intimate boutique resort caters for a maximum of only 32 guests at any one time and promises a unique and authentic Fijian experience without sacrificing luxury or service.
There are sixteen well appointed beachfront villas and bures nestled among swaying palms and verdant tropical gardens. The authentic Beachfront Bures all have thatched roofs and were designed and built in traditional Fijian style, with soaring 20 foot ceilings and hand polished local mahogany hardwood floors. The bures feature a four-poster bed, living area with a sofa, fully stocked mini bar, antique Fijian art and covered deck with comfortable furniture, hammock and unobstructed views of the ocean.
The split-level Honeymoon Villa is spacious and also built in traditional Fijian style. The upper level is the bedroom and two steps take you down to the lounge. Both rooms face the sea and have access to a large verandah by sliding glass doors. The spacious covered deck has lounge chairs, a table and a hammock. The spacious bathroom has an indoor shower, double sinks, and opens onto a private outdoor riverstone courtyard with both an outdoor shower and jacuzzi spa bath.
The two Honeymoon Bures command expansive and unobstructed views of Qamea’s lagoon and the beach. Both Honeymoon Bures have romantic canopied four-poster beds with soft white mosquito netting curtains and boast a bathroom of over 300 square feet opening onto a private outdoor courtyard with an enticing natural stone Jacuzzi spa pool. One of the many unique features of Honeymoon Bures is a covered day bed off the beachside deck with privacy curtains. The two Premium Villas are situated at the far end of the beach, affording maximum privacy and seclusion from the rest of the resort, along with the highest level of luxury for the discerning couple. With private beachside pools and over 1,700 square feet of secluded luxury, this is the best that Qamea has to offer.
The cuisine at Qamea is South Pacific Rim, using organic fruits and vegetables. All of their seafood is local, caught daily by Qamea fishermen; beef and poultry is flown in from Australia and New Zealand. The menus change daily and you will always have a choice of two starters and three mains, with at least one vegetarian option. Afternoon tea and homemade cakes or pastries are served daily and snacks are always available between meals.
