Transfer by road to Caño Blanco and from there by boat to Tortuguero National Park passing through its waterways where prodigious tropical birds, monkeys, sloth, caiman and turtles are to be found.

Early morning boat trip through the canals to see the exotic birds and wildlife within the jungle vegetation. Get a chance to see some of the more than 300 birds that reside in the area such as egrets, anhinga, kingfishers, the green and great blue herons, jacanas, hawks and kites. Other animals that you might see are: iguanas, caimans, basilisk lizards, fishing bats, three-toed sloths, monkeys such as the howler, white-faced and spider monkeys.
