Mexico City is one of the most populous places on Earth; giving you the opportunity to experience any number of possibilities; from huge street festivals to family restaurants hidden away in quiet squares. From world class art and theatrical events, to local craft studios and modern galleries.
Beyond the city – in Merida for example – lies a different sort of culture, in the form of Mayan temples, palaces and archaeological wonders like Uxmal’s vast caves covered in paintings dating back to 600 BC.
And then it’s time to laze beside the sea, on a two mile stretch of deserted sand in the Mayan Riviera.
