Authentic and incredibly peaceful, RAAS Chhatrasagar is the perfect place to take time out on a tour through Rajasthan. All tents face the east, overlooking a serene reservoir, and have private terraces where you can drink in panoramic views.
Carefully hand-stitched interiors with block-printed floral motifs combine with supremely comfortable beds and locally crafted teak furniture. RAAS Chhatrasagar is one of the few camp’s in India to be open year-round, with air conditioning and heating in every space to ensure guest comfort throughout the year.
The camp is known for its exceptional birding opportunities, as well as ventures to local villages to watch local craftsmen, farmers and villagers going about their daily activities. Dining is an authentic experience, with delicious meals prepared from old family recipes and served either in the dining tent or by the campfire under a star-speckled sky. The hilltop behind the camp is the perfect spot to enjoy a sundowner overlooking the picturesque surrounding countryside.
