Suján Sher Bagh, Ranthambore

Suján Sher Bagh is a small but luxurious tented camp just 10 minutes from the entrance to one of India’s most renowned wildlife sanctuaries.

From its hand-stitched tents to its custom campaign-style furniture, old-world service and passionate guides, Suján Sher Bagh offers a luxurious camping experience unlike any other. Dedicated to conservation and comfort, this pioneering camp transports its guests to the 1920s to experience life on safari during the heyday of the British Raj. Elegant under-canvas living, crackling campfires and al fresco dining under star-lit skies are all part of the experience.

Suján Sher Bagh is perfectly placed for ventures into this ancient forest, home of the majestic Bengal tiger, accompanied by expert naturalist guides who will share their incredible knowledge of the park and its inhabitants with you. When not on safari, you can unwind in the shade of a tree with a book from the library, or retreat to the private pool. Tea is served in the afternoon, while traditional Indian dinners are cooked in clay ovens using ingredients from the garden.
