Ker & Downey La Bee Lodge, Landruk

Three to four hours walk from Ghandruk – and about the same distance from the bee-keeping village of Majgaun – lies an idyllic place to rest and take photographs.

You sit on the terrace outside the main lodge and wonder at the awesome nature of planet Earth. Before you the mighty Annapurnas march off into the distance, the mountain winds blowing white clouds from their peaks, like giant puffs of smoke. To one side of you the valley, carpeted in dark green trees plunges into a mist-obscured abyss. Despite the bright sunlight the air is cold, clear, bracing you for the next leg of your incredible journey through some of Nepal’s most picturesque mountains.

Make La Bee Lodge one of the stopping points on the itinerary of your tailor-made holiday to Nepal and not only will you wake up refreshed, you will have an incredible store of memories and photographic images to remind you of an unrivalled experience.
