The 89 guest rooms and suites are spacious, comfortable and elegantly furnished and decorated, combining period style with 21st century comforts. Many have French windows with Juliet balconies and/or views over the sea.
There are two restaurants, Le Plat d’Or and Le Café Jardin serving distinct French and more diverse cuisine respectively, whilst the Monty Bar, named after Field Marshal Montgomery who resided here in World War II, is a popular watering hole. Other facilities include a nightclub, a fitness centre, a sauna and massage. The hotel is also ideally situated for exploring the city, with the majority of historic landmarks and museums close by, including the spectacular new Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
