A bit about me

Coming from a very adventurous and international family, I was fortunate enough to go on some incredible trips from an early age which really fuelled my desire to travel the world independently! As soon as I finished school I was off and spent a memorable 8 months travelling around the world. Now well and truly having caught the ‘travel bug’ I was set on seeing as much of the world as possible, a determination that has only strengthened with time. Some of my more recent adventures include living and working in China as well as discovering the charm of Southern India and the jaw dropping beauty of Mauritius.

My favourite place

Africa has to be one of the most incredible countries I have visited. Having family in South Africa working in conservation I was lucky enough to spend many holidays exploring the Kruger as a child. Further highlights include the delightful charm of Botswana and Franschhoek stunning winelands.

My favourite hotel

I was lucky enough to stay at the magnificent Four Seasons Resort at Anahita, Mauritius. This stunning property showcases Mauritius in all its glory and to date is one of the most incredible hotels I have ever visited.

My most memorable experience

This is incredibly hard to answer as I have such an array of fantastic memories from my adventures around the world! However one moment I will never forget was watching the sunrise over a sleepy Angkor Wat the horizon appearing as if on fire revealing one of Cambodia’s most beautiful treasures.

My top tips

Document your travels! To me there is nothing more valuable than the memories I have and I take pride in ensuring I document them well. As a keen photographer I am never without my camera and have an abundance of photographs as well as many stuffed journals and various pieces of art I have collected along the way.
