On arrival in Muscat, you will be met and privately transferred to your luxury hotel situated in the city’s prestigious Qurum Heights district. Relax after your flight amongst the hotel’s landscaped gardens.

Today you will be picked up by your driver and driven two and half hours to your luxury resort in the Al Hajar Mountains. From here you can explore attractions like the Al Hoota Cave, historic Nizwa Fort, ancient town of Al Hamra and impressive Jebel Shams – the highest mountain on the Arabian Peninsula.
When you’re not soaking in the breathtaking mountain scenery you can fill your days with trekking, mountain biking and hiking expeditions, plus visits to isolated villages tucked into the mountainsides.
Stay: Two nights in a superior room at The View – half board
The stunning Wahiba Sands – an endless ocean of golden sand with dunes that rise up to 200 metres – is your next stop. You’ll be staying in a traditional Bedouin-style tented camp at the heart of the desert where you’ll really be able to appreciate the silence and splendour of your surroundings. Today you will make your way to Oman’s eastern coast to reach Ras Al Jinz, the point where the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea meet. The beach here is a protected turtle-nesting site where endangered green sea turtles come ashore at night to lay their eggs. Guided excursions are led each night to allow visitors to view this magical process.

You’ll reach Muscat by day seven, and have ample time to soak in the city’s intriguing blend of the old and new which features the ancient port of Muttrah, Portuguese colonial buildings and iconic 21st-century landmarks.
