Awasi Mendoza sits on a 55-acre estate in Luján de Cuyo, one of Argentina’s most renowned wine regions. Located around 30 minutes south of Mendoza city, the property is surrounded by vineyards with clear views towards the Andes Mountains.
Part of the Relais & Châteaux collection, the lodge was conceived as a tribute to Mendoza’s long winemaking tradition. Its setting combines vineyard landscapes, mountain views and a strong connection to the region’s wine culture.
Accommodation is arranged across 17 private villas spread throughout the estate. Each villa has been designed as a self-contained retreat and includes a private pool, hot tub and fireplace, along with a terrace positioned to take in views of the vineyards and the Andes.
As with all Awasi lodges, each stay is shaped around the individual guest. Before arrival, the team gathers information about interests and preferences so activities, dining and excursions can be tailored accordingly.
Dining focuses on regional ingredients and contemporary Argentine cuisine, complemented by wines from Mendoza and other Argentine wine regions. The lodge’s wine cellar showcases a curated selection of labels from across the country.
Experiences are centred around the vineyards and surrounding landscapes. Guests can visit nearby wineries for tastings, ride horseback through the vines, take part in cooking classes focused on traditional Argentine dishes, or explore the Andes on guided excursions.
