NIHI Sumba sits on 270 hectares on the south-west coast of Sumba, above the 2.5-kilometre sweep of Nihiwatu Beach. The setting is central to the property’s identity: a long, undeveloped shoreline, Indian Ocean views and a landscape of forest, rice fields and traditional villages. Access is usually via a domestic flight from Bali to Tambolaka, followed by a transfer of around 90 minutes.
The resort has 31 villas, offering 51 rooms in different bedroom layouts, each with a private pool.
