On day four you’ll catch a flight to Bali and its spiritual heart of Ubud – the island’s centre for culture, fine arts, dance and music. You’ll be staying at The Samaya Ubud, tucked away in the emerald hills and rice fields of Bali’s interior. Using this as your base, you can venture out to discover traditional arts and crafts markets, galleries, silversmiths, the Ubud Palace or verdant Monkey Forest – sanctuary of the Balinese long-tailed Monkey.
Alternatively, you can enjoy leisurely strolls or bicycle rides along nearby trails – the perfect way to meet local people and drink in the picturesque scenery. Those wanting to master local recipes can also take part in a private cooking class.

Upon arrival in the village of Munduk you’ll discover a peaceful landscape filled by verdant rice fields, age-old rainforests and cacao, coffee and clove plantations. During your stay you can make excursions to the beautiful lakes of Bratan, Buyan and Tamblingan, whilst the surrounding countryside offers you an array of activities such as canoeing, trekking and horseback riding.

You’ll also be able to track Timor deer, wild boars, water buffalo and various exotic birds such as spangled drongos, fish eagles and the orange-footed scrubfowl. From the highest point on the trek you will have a splendid panoramic view of the surrounding island.
The next stop on your cruise is the pristine cove of Pink Beach, a dream for snorkelers and divers with reefs that teem with inquisitive fish, manta rays and underwater flora.
