Hosted by the Wood family and their friendly team of local staff, you’ll be able to fill your days with a plethora of activities ranging from nature walks and game drives to fishing in the Mara River, scenic sundowners and visits to local Maasai villages. The entire property is completely fenced, and therefore safe for walking, running, biking and horse riding.

At its heart, the lodge is a model of regenerative eco-tourism, dedicated to restoring wildlife habitats and improving the lives of the people living in the area. Guests are also afforded an insight into day-to-day life on a traditional Kenyan cattle farm, from milking the cows to beekeeping and tree planting. The main house and six cottages are nestled amid the beautiful grounds, alongside a large curved swimming pool with a thatch gazebo and bar. Of the cottages, two are family suites with ensuite bathrooms, a dining area and lounge. Interiors are light and comfortable throughout, with lovely river views.

“THREE HOLIDAYS IN AND STILL HIGHLY RECOMMEDED”
Dan Mills organised perfectly a challenging itinerary to incorporate a wedding we were attending in Kathmandu. A fantastic balance of trekking, rafting, safari, sightseeing and R&R. This was our third holiday with Ultimate Travel and we cannot recommend highly enough

“FABULOUS FIRST VISIT TO SOUTH AFRICA”
Excellent advice received regarding our first trip to South Africa. We were given very personalised recommendations based on what we hoped to experience during our holiday, and the suggested lodges were absolutely fabulous. All transfers ran like clockwork, with polite and friendly drivers. From the beautifully printed, detailed itinerary to the elegant document case, luggage tags, and the informative app, every detail contributed to a sense of luxurious, premium service.

“FLAWLESS, AGAIN”
This is the third time I’ve used TUTC. The service, as before, was flawless. Aside from putting in place all the major details of a complex trip to Japan, Dan at TUTC nailed every detail: train tickets were for seats with large luggage space (very important in Japan, as we discovered); a mobile internet wifi was included; together with a pre-charged use-pretty-much-anywhere travel card (again, important – Japan has multiple transport companies). For any kind of complex trip I won’t go anywhere else.
