Very different to the serene Out Islands just a few miles away, where you can expect to find a more traditional Bahamas and a slower pace of life.

Above the surface, you can explore Bahamian city life in downtown Nassau, connected to Paradise Island by a road bridge. The only city in The Bahamas and steeped in British colonial history, a walking tour around the historic centre will reveal art galleries, museums and rum distilleries.
