As the only operator on the concession, Great Plains Conservation are able to offer guests exclusive private wildlife sightings, priding themselves on providing the most intimate, up-close viewing of Botswana’s best-known wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, and buffalo. An experience made possible by offering safari experiences from various angles including open vehicle drives, guided bush walks, boating tours, and traditional mokoros canoes.
For accommodation, you’ll find five bespoke, private suites designed in a classical 1920s-inspired African safari style and a separate two-bedroom suite aptly named the Duba Plains Suite. Each suite is set on raised, recycled railway sleeper decking, including an indoor lounge area and beautifully appointed ensuite facilities. Relax on your private veranda, complete with a swimming pool and shaded sala, while enjoying stunning views of the surrounding floodplain and the wildlife that wander past. Complimentary binoculars and a professional camera and lenses are available in your suite, so you can take cherished memento of your adventure home with you.
Staying with Duba Plains Camp will also aid in community initiatives by providing lease funds, jobs, and assistance on projects like Big Cats Caring for Communities, Lamps for Learning (solar jars) Conservation Camp for Kids – which ensures substantial benefits to the local community.
