Built and run in partnership with the local Maasai community, this tranquil eco-lodge has access to some 280,000 acres of pristine private wilderness. Crafted from canvas, wood and stone, its tented cottages have an authentic safari feel and impressive views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the Tsavo Hills and the Chyulu Hills. Hearty Italian and Kenyan dishes are served in the cosy dining area at the heart of camp, which is open to the incredible landscapes. The sitting room overlooks a nearby waterhole, and is the perfect spot to spy on passing game.

From Campi ya Kanzi, you will set out with a Maasai guide to experience the thrill of tracking big game on foot. You’ll learn to track spoor, read footprints and get up close to wildlife in their natural habitat. You’ll also wander through rich green cloud forests, dine deep in the bush, stargaze and picnic in the Chyulu Hills.

“THREE HOLIDAYS IN AND STILL HIGHLY RECOMMEDED”
Dan Mills organised perfectly a challenging itinerary to incorporate a wedding we were attending in Kathmandu. A fantastic balance of trekking, rafting, safari, sightseeing and R&R. This was our third holiday with Ultimate Travel and we cannot recommend highly enough

“FLAWLESS, AGAIN”
This is the third time I’ve used TUTC. The service, as before, was flawless. Aside from putting in place all the major details of a complex trip to Japan, Dan at TUTC nailed every detail: train tickets were for seats with large luggage space (very important in Japan, as we discovered); a mobile internet wifi was included; together with a pre-charged use-pretty-much-anywhere travel card (again, important – Japan has multiple transport companies). For any kind of complex trip I won’t go anywhere else.
