Accommodations are designed to harmonise with the natural environment, featuring rustic yet luxurious bandas (bungalows) made from locally sourced materials. Each banda offers direct access to the beach and stunning ocean views.
Breakfast and lunch are served on the shaded terrace, though guests can also opt for the charm of a picnic on a sandbar accessible only by boat, or a shaded lunch on one of the island’s beaches. In the evening, the atmosphere becomes quite magical, with options to dine in the glow of the illuminated lighthouse or enjoy a bonfire lit meal on the beach. Chef Edmund, trained in France under a Michelin-starred chef, crafts delicious, healthy, and locally inspired cuisine. For an alternative dining experience, set sail on a traditional East Africa coast sailing vessel, a Dhow, for a sunset dinner like no other.
The spa offers a menu of thalassotherapy treatments and massages, with each treatment room featuring stunning sea views. For those looking to stay active, the open-sided gym provides a breathtaking ocean backdrop, making it an inspiring place to work out and stay fit.
The resort offers activities like snorkeling, diving, and marine safaris where Spinner Dolphins and Bottlenose Dolphins are regularly spotted in the surrounding marine sanctuary. From November to March, the island is the destination of migratory birds. Armed with good pair of binoculars, and stationed in a discreet lookout spot, you can appreciate the rich diversity of the island’s neighbours.
