In the evening, the atmosphere becomes quite magical, with options to dine in the glow of the illuminated lighthouse or enjoy a bonfire lit meal on the beach. Chef Edmund, trained in France under a Michelin-starred chef, crafts delicious, healthy, and locally inspired cuisine. For an alternative dining experience, set sail on a traditional East Africa coast sailing vessel, a Dhow, for a sunset dinner like no other.

The resort offers activities like snorkeling, diving, and marine safaris where Spinner Dolphins and Bottlenose Dolphins are regularly spotted in the surrounding marine sanctuary. From November to March, the island is the destination of migratory birds. Armed with good pair of binoculars, and stationed in a discreet lookout spot, you can appreciate the rich diversity of the island’s neighbours.
