Perhaps the most breathtaking of all its natural spectacles is the Victoria Falls. A curtain of water over a mile wide, you can hear the roar of the mighty cascades from quite a distance. Over 550,000 cubic metres fall every minute over the gorge, causing a billowing mist that rises dramatically above the falls. Whether you’re viewing it from below in a boat or from above in a helicopter, the Victoria Falls are reason enough to take a luxury, tailor-made holiday to Zimbabwe.
