Hand-crafted by local Fijian craftsmen using wood, bamboo, lava rock and coconut palm thatch, the Bures have been designed to achieve a balance between nature and contemporary elegance. They feature a private veranda, outdoor lava rock shower and beach hammock. The split-level Tree Houses are located steps from the beach and surrounded by lush tropical foliage. They offer a private sun deck, outdoor Jacuzzi and lava rock shower, spacious bathroom with dual hand basins, large day bed and complimentary laundry service. The two bedroom Villa Matangi is built in the same style as Beachfront Bures, sitting on its own private point only steps from the ocean. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.

At Matangi, the cuisine is largely influenced by tropical surroundings, Fijian heritage and the unique flavours of the South Pacific. Exotic meals provide an array of fresh fish and seafood caught by local fishermen, imported meats, locally grown vegetables, tropical fruit from surrounding gardens, freshly baked breads and sumptuous desserts. Meals are served in the resort’s dining room, built only metres from a pristine beach and with 270-degree views of the ocean and our exquisitely landscaped tropical gardens.
