CASTAWAY ISLAND RESORT, FIJI

Castaway is a four-star resort set on the island with 174 acres covered with lush tropical vegetation, surrounded by white sand beaches and encircled by vibrant coral reefs. Castaway is a relaxed and informal island resort, where bare feet and sulus are the norm throughout the day and evening.

The resort offers 66 spacious, traditionally thatched Fijian style bures (bungalows) with a choice of beachfront, ocean view or island location. All bures feature one king size bed and most include two additional single beds in their configuration. Each bure features a high vaulted tapa lined ceiling with overhead fans. In most bures, sleeping and living quarters are separate with the emphasis being on privacy and comfort. All bures have quality island style furnishings, fabrics and linen.

The resort’s Water’s Edge Restaurant offers sweeping ocean views, fresh Fijian seafood and crustaceans, prime grade beef, poultry and local Fijian specialties. The Sundowner Bar is open for drinks, gourmet pizzas and snacks.
