UNOBTRUSIVE CAMP
Tucked in amongst tall trees overlooking the Xakanaxa Lagoon, this unobtrusive camp offers spectacular game viewing in the beating heart of the Okavango Delta.
Stay here and you’ll be transported to a pretty stretch of the Khwai River at the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve, where only canvas will be between you and the wildlife.
The atmosphere throughout camp is relaxed and friendly, with safari activities conducted by experienced guides eager to share their in-depth knowledge of this great wilderness. The game viewing in the area is fantastic, which you’ll experience in 4×4 safari vehicles as well as motorboats – the ideal way to explore the lagoon and its meandering channels.
Dotted along the fringes of the lagoon, the camp’s 12 Meru-style tents come tastefully appointed with large ensuite bathrooms and polished teak decks. Like the guest quarters, the stylish communal buildings are set on raised platforms to maximise the views over the surrounding lagoons and islands. Thatched roofs and wooden decks adorn the bar and restaurant, whilst a glowing fire pit provides the perfect spot for evening drinks.
