Olinto nestles in a lush olive grove – the olive oil of which is used in the onsite restaurant – near the village of Ouirgane in the Berber heartland of Morocco.
Framed by earthen walls and private gardens, the nine guest pavilions feel like individual sanctuaries. Some have heated pools, but all have furnished rooftops for basking in the Moroccan sunshine. The entire property has a traditional feel with geometric stained glass windows, decorative brickwork and intricately carved doors throughout.
When you feel like exploring, Olinto provides a great jumping-off point for mountain biking, hiking and climbing Mount Toubkal – northern Africa’s highest peak.
