MIRIHI ISLAND RESORT

SUBLIME VIEWS

Escape to one of the smallest resorts in the Maldives where a powdery soft beach, a vibrant house reef and authentic Maldivian hospitality await your arrival.

Mirihi Island Resort sits on a tiny speck of white sand just 350 metres long and 50 metres wide. Designed without TVs, motorised water sports or loud music, there is nothing to disturb the serenity of the island. Staff are attentive, and there is a complimentary yoga class every morning. Nestled on the beach or perched on stilts above the turquoise waters, Mirihi’s Beach and Water Villas are their own little sanctuaries, each with a private sundeck and sublime views of the endless horizon. When it comes to dining, there are a number of romantic venues and menus, from freshly caught seafood at over-water Muraka to themed nights at the sand-floored Dhonveli.

Ringed by a spectacular reef populated by sea turtles and rainbow-hued fish, Mirihi is a paradise for keen snorkelers and divers. A short boat ride will bring you to the South Ari Atoll Marine Protected Area where whale sharks and manta rays are spotted year-round. You can venture further afield on a fishing trip aboard Mirihi’s traditional dhoni boat, before enjoying some chill-out time with a movie on the beach.

“FAULTLESS AND FUN”
We’ve just returned from a Danube cruise with Douglas Skeggs and Joanna Worsley, with a few days in Vienna beforehand – all brilliantly overseen by Emily. From meet and greet at the airport to every detail on board the Amadeus Cara, the organisation was seamless. We’re already looking forward to our next Escorted Tour with The Ultimate Travel Company.

“IN SAFE HANDS, EVEN WHEN PLANS CHANGE”
Every detail of our Patagonia tour was expertly arranged – from transfers and flights to the choice of hotels. When our onward flight to the Falklands was delayed by two days, The Ultimate Travel Company stepped in immediately and secured a hotel for us. It was an enormous relief, especially as we don’t speak Spanish and had no idea what to do next. That level of thoughtful, responsive service stayed with us – it turned a potential travel hiccup into a lasting positive memory.

“TAILORED TO PERFECTION”
Our holiday in Thailand was superb – custom-built exactly to our preferences. The Ultimate Travel Company were super attentive, listening carefully to what we wanted and designing an itinerary and hotel selection that really delivered. Even while we were away, they responded quickly to a query. A brilliant experience from start to finish.
