Each of the 20 open-plan suites are generously sized with timber furnishings, Himalayan rugs and traditional wood-burning stoves, whilst large picture windows make the most of the landscape.
The food is organic and served banquet-style, but you can also enjoy an authentic Bhutanese meal at a local farmhouse.
Days are dedicated to exploring the treasures of the valley, from guided mushroom foraging to sunrise hikes to the revered Tiger’s Nest Monastery. The lodge also serves as a great jumping-off point for various treks, including leisurely valley floor walks and more intense day-long treks into the surrounding mountains. When not outdoors, guests can enjoy a few laps in the indoor pool or quiet contemplation in the meditation area. Alternatively, retreat to the sublime Six Senses Spa.
