Here you’ll discover that you’re sharing your luxury, tailor-made holiday to India with Laxmi and Rangmala, the property’s two resident elephants. Guests are invited to help the staff give these gentle giants their morning bath, watch them frolic in the pool and even dine alongside them as they casually stroll over to your table during a meal.
You’ll be able to head out further afield alongside Laxmi and Rangmala, who are keen explorers, and their mahout on guided walks through the Saluwar Forest. Visits to the nearby village, jeep rides to the 16th century Amer Fort and birdwatching are also on the menu. Upon your return, you can unwind in the open-air lounge, beside the roaring bonfire or in the comfort of your sumptuous, safari-style tent. The camp’s swimming pool has been designed in the way that any overflow nourishes the surrounding forest and provides water for the areas wild animals.
