Built over 200 years ago as the suburban manor house of the rulers of Samode, their descendants have since converted their home into a luxury hotel. The Haveli is a haven of serenity and Indo-Saracenic splendour, with walled gardens and arched balconies gathered around a grand courtyard and central fountain.
The former royal apartments are now deluxe rooms and suites, each decorated in a traditional style and adorned with hand-crafted Rajasthani furniture. Every space is rich with character and intricate details.
The vast swimming pool, framed by luxurious day beds, is arguably one of Jaipur’s finest, and there is also a dedicated wading pool for children. Other highlights include the Ayurvedic spa and the spectacular painted dining room – a grand setting for guests to enjoy authentic regional dishes. There is an airy veranda and plenty of cosy hidden alcoves to sit back and relax in. A short drive will bring you to the Hawa Mahal, City Palace and other attractions.
